A vineyard shaped by land, climate and vision
At Rock Forest Vineyard, every bottle tells the story of the Bathurst landscape – a place of rugged beauty, granite soils, crisp winters and long, sunlit summers. Just outside the historic city of Bathurst, our vineyard reflects the unique character of this cool-climate region, producing wines that are elegant, complex and deeply tied to place.
What began as a dream has grown into a thriving vineyard, carefully nurtured from bare land into rows of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. With minimal irrigation and vines that have taken time to mature, our wines capture the essence of resilience, patience and the remarkable terroir that defines Rock Forest.
A warm welcome among the vines
Our cellar door is open on the first weekend of each month, and by appointment on other weekends. When you visit, you’ll meet us, the custodians of this land – the hands behind every vine, every barrel and every bottle. We invite you to taste our wines, walk among the vines and share in the story of how this land has shaped what’s in your glass.
Every visit is personal. Whether you’re discovering our crisp whites or rich reds, or simply enjoying the views across the vineyard, you’ll leave with a sense of connection – to us, to the land and to the wine it produces.
Rooted in Bathurst & Backroads
Rock Forest Vineyard is part of the Bathurst wine story – a community of passionate vignerons working to share the beauty and bounty of this remarkable region. Here, wine is more than a drink. It’s a reflection of country, climate and craft.
