Welcome to BX After Dark
Expressions of Interest are now open to businesses and organisations across the Bathurst Region, including surrounding towns and villages, to propose a satellite event as part of the official BX After Dark program.
BX After Dark is about creating reasons for people to stay, explore, dine and experience the Bathurst Region, with a focus on strengthening the night-time economy.
Daytime events are also encouraged where they connect to a BX After Dark theme and support the relevant signature event. Satellite events should provide a genuine experience and contribute to the story and success of the relevant BX After Dark program.
Successful applicants will receive further information and requirements before their event is confirmed.

Heritage & Laneways | The Wandering Table Series

Satellite events: 13 – 15 November 2026
Celebrating the heritage, architecture, laneways, buildings, landscapes and stories of the Bathurst Region.
Where the World Comes to Celebrate
Signature event: 11–14 February 2027
Satellite events: 8 – 14 February 2027
Inspired by the international spirit of the Bathurst 12 Hour, celebrating countries, cultures, cuisine and international connections.
Harvest After Dark
Signature event:Â 15 May 2027 | Bathurst Showground
Satellite events: 14 – 16 May 2027
Celebrating local produce, growers, producers, agriculture, food, beverage and the Region's harvest story.
Participation
The standard participation fee is $200 per event.
Current Elevate Partners and Bathurst & Backroads Partners receive up to three complimentary event listings, limited to one event per signature program. Additional events are $200 per event.
All approved satellite events will benefit from the overall BX After Dark marketing campaign and promotion associated with the relevant signature event.
Where appropriate, individual satellite events may also be featured in BX After Dark satellite event spotlights in the lead-up to each signature event, providing additional exposure for participating businesses and their experiences.
